I
was working in Brisbane as a web/graphic designer & developer
untill 2003, before relocating to the Sunshine Coast.
I am presently networking my web design skills on a freelance/contract
basis out to local and national Companies and Clients. I work
from my home design office efficiently and preserve and ensure
a high level of web integrity within all graphical and website
programmed components designed and maintained. Until present
work has been typically via contractual agreement or on negotiated
hourly rate based on my experience.
I
have worked consistently and to a very high level as a leading
graphic designer and mid-level Asp applications developer on
each website project, to produce an effective, easy to navigate
website for all my clients.
I
have graphically designed professional business website interfaces
and images, logo's, business cards (Print), page backgrounds,
banner images, brochures and calendars for print and much more
as the client has requested. In essence I can design any graphic.
I
place at all times a very professional and corporate edge throughout
all material designed.
I
always provide a consistent themed look and feel and symbolically
know how to manage the colours in the colour wheel, use and
place frames in strategic positions, as a designer should. I
Code using mainly pre-written components in languages, ASP,
Html, DHTML, JavaScript, VB script as well Cgi -scripting. I
always provide an easy to navigate and browser compatible platform
for a website to ensure visitors navigate a site with ease.
I can design banners and image works of any size and theme,
animate with JavaScript and or Flash.
Creative
work includes Flash design, which involves creating animation
and movement transformations using a timeline, tweening colour
and motion effects, colour wheel and placing logos and objects

My
more technical work has included developing site applications
in ASP code. My ability to understand these code components
and the properties and methods involved with web development
has enabled me to create such online applications as a search
engine, auction site, classified/personals site, mailing list,
enquiry forms with full VB-script or JavaScript error validation,
auto-responders, domain name availability checker programs and
e-commerce shopping carts.
Development
functions include and are not limited to:
Manipulation of databases, selecting and retrieving information,
updating to database and distributing data to email addresses.

where a Chemist with over 7000 products launched online with
a host of automated customer and administration facilities.

was also developed over a few months and now enables the client
full online capabilities to sustain her nutrition resource website
in an ever-growing industry. I utilised an asp coded comprehensive
shop cart software to help with the set up of these sites. I
made customisations to suit individual requirements.
